[TUTORIAL] How to Achieve 3D Effect

This is how I create the 3D effects on my edits, there maybe some easier or other techniques out there but that’s how I make mine. I hope it will be easy for you, guys. I’m not very good at explaining but I hope everything is clear and easy.

Step 1:

You first pick the picture you want and color it. Then merge all layers, so it will be only one layer on your Layer palette

Step 2:

Duplicate the picture. Click on the “FX” -add a layer style- button at the bottom of the Layer palette and pick “Blending Option” from the list

Step 3:

A new window will pop up, go to the “Advanced Blending” , you’ll find that all the three channels are being picked. You just click on R, so it’s no longer picked. Then Click OK

Step 4:

Now you have the two layers. Move The topped layer a little to the right side, you will start to see the 3D effect. You can mess around and move the top layer even more
